I'm Yecenia

Hi there!

My Motto:
More caffeine - less stressing.
More espresso - less depresso

That journey brought me to where I am today—specializing in wedding and elopement photography across the breathtaking landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. My passion isn’t just about taking photos—it’s about preserving the emotions, the fleeting moments, and the little details that make each love story unique.

Photography is more than just a career for me—it’s a calling, a way to serve others through the gifts God has blessed me with. I find so much joy in capturing love in its purest form, preserving the little moments and big emotions that make a wedding day unforgettable. My goal is to create images that transport couples back to the laughter, happy tears, and overwhelming love they felt, so they can relive those memories for years to come.

but everyone calls me Yessy!

I’m married to my best friend, and together we have five energetic kids and a dog who matches their energy. Life in our home is anything but quiet, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me at the gym, jamming out to karaoke, volunteering at church, or running on way too much caffeine. And as a true foodie, I’m always down to try something new—whether it’s a hole-in-the-wall restaurant or a dish I’ve never heard of before!

Originally from Virginia, the Navy life has taken me from CT to GA and now WA, making each place feel like home. Moving so often has only deepened my love for capturing moments—because I know just how precious they are.

Photography has always been my jam! It started back in high school with a simple point-and-shoot camera, but my passion truly reignited when my husband surprised me with a Canon Rebel starter kit. In 2019, everything fell into place when I joined a photography life group at my church. That experience led me to serve as one of the church’s photographers and even teach my own photography course.

a little bit of crazy, a little bit of loud, and a whole lot of love
